Advancing Low-Carbon LNG through
Responsible Sourcing and Carbon Capture
The Bayelsa LNG project will be the first large scale de-flaring and liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in the vibrant Niger Delta of Nigeria. Our innovative facility will utilize flare gas and tap into Nigeria’s 209 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of proven gas reserves to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and natural gas liquids (NGLs) for both local and export markets.
By responsibly sourcing gas and implementing advanced Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies, we aim to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. Our approach not only mitigates emissions but also promotes sustainable energy practices that benefit the environment and local communities.
Final Investment Decision (FID) is anticipated in 2025, with first shipments projected for early 2029.

With an estimated payback period of less than four years, our large-scale, modular de-flaring and LNG export facility is designed to deliver reliable returns and strengthen energy security, all while supplying cleaner, greener LNG to the market.
